Right wing scare tactics again and again....people who could never qualify because of pre-existing conditions are now finally able to get insurance. The Affordable Care Act was modeled after Romney's plan that is already working in Massachusetts. AMAC's scare tactics and lies about losing your current doctor are just flat out lies and diversions. Sure there are kinks to be worked out like with anything.
I'd look at who is backing AMAC, oh the greedy Medical establishment.

Make all government employees enroll in it and we will see how fair it is. No exclusions.

Just so no another thread on this issue is started I will post this clip of Neil Cavuto here. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDdmtJCEWPAIt sure sums up a lot of the flaws in obamakare and at the same time shows you who is at fault.

The flaws of Obamacare stem from one simple fact: the law was crafted in order to garner bipartisan support (i think you'd agree with that). It obviously didn't get bipartisan support, and now to oppose the Democrats, Republicans are attempting to chip away even further, and Republican states are sabotaging it as much as possible (even though they are the states that need it most). Now i'll watch your video and see how asinine it is.

They aren't Republican States but those with less urban populations, not nearly as dependent upon government services as city and metropolitan folks. Yep, that is a hyper-general and simplistic assessment but close to accurate.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards Those states with "less urban populations" are a drag on the national economy by receiving more in federal money than they contribute. (i.e. being the "taker" states) These taker states are nearly all solid red and have the highest percent of uninsured folks - people need health insurance there more than anywhere and GOP leadership is not allowing it.

What is your source? It is hard for me to think that Wyoming is more dependent than New Jersey or California.

What is your source? It is hard for me to think that Wyoming is more dependent than New Jersey or California. I didn't have to look it up to source - it's quite a well-known fact. The first article I saw in a google search just now was from Bloomberg... New Jersey is one of the top two provider states, receiving only 60 cents in federal spending for every dollar they contribute. Red states notoriously suck the federal tit for more of the blue states' hard-earned income - maybe that's why republicans can envision a smaller government easier, they already get double the benefits.

Bloomberg The Economist Slate Huffington Post Washington Post Business Insider Daily Beast That was on the first two pages of search results. Don't like Politifact? Okay, take your pick. Red states are the takers, blue states are the makers.

Then it should be easy for you to provide a reliable site, or cite, that disproves it.
