As well intentioned as they may be, would it not be a good idea for politicians and bureaucrats, of both parties, to be just a little bit more humble about trying to coax the unwashed passes to behave in ways that they, the pols and bcrats favor?

Um, excuse me? The "unwashed passes""? Do you mean the "unwashed masses" or are you once again PUI after several rounds at the 19th hole"?
You're really rather arrogant, assuming that everyone but you is incredibly ignorant and incapable of understanding most everything. My goodness - you sit there in you golf community, playing golf with 3 or 4 buddies, most likely retired military who agree with you and tell you you're "smart". Tell ya what Pooh - you really aren't all that bright. If you were bright you'd offer something more than what you read on Weekly World News or hear on Fox.
And the sad part is this - I actually think you are quite bright but I find it sad that you waste that intelligence on here. I think you could offer some decent intellectual arguments if you wanted to do so, but all you offer are trolls. Yeah, trolls are fun, but sooner or later you need to show us your academic credentials and to this point, you've been incapable of doing that.
So $#!+ or get off the farking pot. Are you capable of offering an intellectual argument or are you just capable of a troll? And again, the sad part is if you are capable of a troll, you're capable of a decent argument but you are too afraid to offer one.
