Ok Charger Fans, how will the team do this year? Is this the year Rivers leads the team to a Super Bowl?

Lost both starting cornerbacks and there's still some uncertainty on the offensive line. Whisenhunt and McCoy both have decent track records with QBs so we might see the old Rivers again. Other than that I really don't know what to expect.

If McCoy and Wisenhunt focus on getting the ball out of Rivers' hands quickly as they've alluded to, the Chargers should be fine. Even with last years train-wreck of an Oline, Rivers was one of the best QBs when getting the ball out in 2.5 seconds. Unfortunately, Norv wouldn't adjust his scheme to accommodate the awful line he had and the playcalling was a bad fit for the personnel.

I'm expecting a boatload of improvement, simply due to the uptick in competence patrolling the sidelines. The offensive line still has some question marks, but I think the line will ultimately be improved. The key will be Mathews. If we can have some semblance of a running game, it will take a ton of pressure off 17. Defensive line should be a strength and I really think Freeney will have a better season than most think.
