Wow. Speechless. We saw how much SDSU missed her the first time she left. Big, BIG loss for SDSU.

Beth was one of the most successful and least appreciated coaches to ever have been on the Mesa. Sorry to see you go you were great.

I'll certainly throw your name in the hat,but first I have to ask: Will you play with that same bitch-slap,up tempo,take-no-prisoners style that Beth employed? Can you recruit top notch athletic and speedy point guards like Beth could? I'll think about it...You also have to keep my car washed too,by the way. Just saying.

Beth was an outstanding coach. Too bad the women's program wasn't supported like the men's program is. I would not be surprised if after a year Beth decides to coach again at a big name program as head coach or an assistant.

That's just it,Win.If her style of play and winning percentage wasn't enough to get fans excited and in the seats, what will it take? ...Geez,did she spoil us who enjoyed watching her teams play.

I have no experience with that on my résumé, looks like I need to withdraw my application true to not meeting the minimum requirement for the position.

Her sudden retirement sure seems odd. I hope what happened to her at Ohio State didn't happen here. Winners like she can be very demanding.

Sad to see her go and never understood why we could not put more butts in the seats for her great teams. When the great majority of the WBB games are in direct competition with the MBB games viewing times I find it easy to understand why my butt isn't in the seat.

Something isn't right.
It's completely out of the blue. She's in her mid-50's. Last summer she signed a 5-year extension. Three weeks ago she was named Region 7 Coach of the Year. Last month she was named MWC Coach of the Year. She is one of eight finalists in the running for National Coach of the Year. She wasn't at the "retirement" announcement today.

This is extremely shocking! I wish her well also, but I want to know what was her reason behind it?!
