From what I understand and in my opinion...
All the idiot had to do was return the $300,000 to the agent that "loaned" him (and his parents) the money in the first place. I still don't understand why he let it get so far. This entire scandal, including the USC sanctions, would have never come to pass.
I'm sure it's no coincidence the civil suit against him was settled just days before his deposition.
Bush is a tool.
