some thoughts
1. Gates and Rivers are money 2. OL pass blocking wasnt bad. 3. Sproles has lost a step. we wont see him after this year. 4. Need help at both safeties badly. 5. Davis and Nanee need to grow up fast...so far its iffy. 6. McMichels is a good addition 7. Tolbert should be running the ball more

A J Smith and Norv Turner left their best receiver (VJ) back in San Diego, that might have cost them this game.

I am so sick of failed runs up the middle.
also the special teams coverage was just awful, yeah the conditions were bad but the chiefs offense wasn't great, don't give up the return td and the other long return and it's a completely different game.

OMG we definitely win that game with V.Jackson and M.Mcneil and if our receivers would've just stopped slipping

A.J. Smith lost this game.
He's also cost us our chances at Super Bowls each year over the last 5 years. (He seems like he doesn't want to win the Super Bowl the way he keeps cutting or trading key players year in and year out - players who could make the difference and help get the Bolts a title.)

Rivers was pressured way too much so I think McNeil is the one that was really missed. Wet conditions might have hurt the receivers. Who knows, VJ might have had a hard time, too. The Chargers are still the better team but the punt return and long TD run were off the wall plays that usually don't happen. PLease beat Jacksonville for me next week. At least the Padres won.

This is to be expected with the Chargers under Norv. Always start off slow. We will get hot in November and December and make the playoffs.
I don't understand why Norv always brings sproles in in goal line situations. Why not run it with Tolber first and second down and see if he can bowl his way in.
Now the question is, will the game be on tv next week?

Looks like we got the traditional chargers slow start. At seems as the bolts always have trouble winning in KC.

Terrible playcalling. Terrible tackling. The marks of a soft coach with no personality. 2nd and goal and he runs a draw with Sproles? Did you not watch the Ravens film from last year, Norv? Rivers was his usual self. Turnovers, penalties and the shittiest field I've ever seen cost us tonight. Floyd scores if he doesn't get his cleat stuck in the turf.

You weren't the only one scratching his head on that 2nd down draw play Ryan. I'm thinking pass 4 times in a row if you need to. He had the protection to do so.

Whatever guys. We outplayed KC both offensively and defensively. The rain and a few bad luck plays were the difference. We started 2-3 last year remember? We'll be fine.
It's going to come down to the post season. It's going to take norv learning from his mistakes.

Poor run blocking by O-Line. I think LT was correct about that. Sproles needs to go. He is not what he was and having him in at the goal line is a joke. How many losses does it take before the Turner figures this out? Jackson even if signed was not going to play. Floyd needs to step up or go home. Larry English is a bust. Defense looked good except for two plays. Special teams coach needs a swift kick.
In other words a typical September game for the Chargers
