That would be nice to average 300+. Hell they might hit that this coming year. I am concerned with the center position for this coming season. The two guys we have are young and light (275 - 285 lbs.). Hope Sergio Phillips signs and can compete right away at center. The rest of the line should be pretty good.

How did Toledo do as a coach recently? That is my only concern. Hopefully he is a better coordinator than HC.

O-Line's pass blocking was exposed against BYU. we have some seniors graduating, so hopefully the new guys can step up and make improvements in that area. Meh, the Dilley injury forced Embernate ou to RT and it all fell apart after that. What was the deal with out 2nd string RT? Is he just not supposed to be very good? Or too raw?

But that's a tough gig. You're picking up whatever scraps are left after LSU and the rest of the SEC raids the best players. I've also read their facilities and University support are lacking. He did take UCLA to a couple of Rose Bowls, and has a solid reputation is a bright offensive mind who knows how to score points. Given SDSU's athletics budget and current uncertainty, it was a pretty damn good hire in my opinion.

Center is the one position you can get away with having a smaller guy. I'm not worried about our center next year's size. I'm more worried about his grasp of the offense and whether he can read defenses and make calls at the line of scrimmage. Trask Iosefa was a master at that.

It was Paul Rodriguez, who I think is has a lot of potential but was super raw coming out of high school. I still would have rather they put him in Instead. We would have had Garrett Corbett for depth but he was injured in fall camp.

I hear you on the center position size. I just saw number 73 get steam rolled so much last year it left a pretty bad impression. Maas (spelling) didn't play so can't say how he will do.

Remember it was Riley Gauld who got inserted at guard when they switched Embernate to tackle. They went with the most experienced backup lineman they could find. Were probably screwed no matter what, especially with the punter pinning us all the time. Meh, the Dilley injury forced Embernate ou to RT and it all fell apart after that. What was the deal with out 2nd string RT? Is he just not supposed to be very good? Or too raw?

#73 was Jordan Smith, a third stringer who barely played. I hear you on the center position size. I just saw number 73 get steam rolled so much last year it left a pretty bad impression. Maas (spelling) didn't play so can't say how he will do.

Wasn't Dilley originally slotted for center when he first came on board? I wonder if he might get switched this spring to make room for a young right tackle.

What do you guys project the starting 5 to be going into next season? Referring to the bigs up front, of course.
