the announcer - former UCLA Bruin , was a pain - tell TW - to find a former AZTEC Yep. Play-by-play guy was good, but the color guy acted like it was the first time he had ever seen the Aztecs play. Reminded me a lot of the old MTN days. The color guy, Jon Crispin transfered from Penn St. to UCLA to sit the bench his junior and senior seasons. Probably wanted to get away from Sandusky.

Wasnt a fan myself. Games on ESPN have much better angles. the broadcaster of the show has no bearing on the placement of the cameras. the cameras are where the cameras are. Don't believe he was saying such lol.

There are ways, expensive ways, to increase capacity and add boxes. I would not want to be the structural engineer on it though.
Some possibilities:
1. Eliminate the interior concourse and require all circulation to occur outside. 2. Two tier seating, with a lower viewing angle degree on the bottom and steeper at the top. This would allow for a traditional box formation between the two tiers and retain sightlines.

I think it's Pitt that ripped out their lower seating and installed luxury boxes in their place. If I was a high roller, I certainly wouldn't pay all that money for seats up on the rim of Viejas.

Luxury boxes wouldnt exist at the top, too far from the court.
