Sierra Canyon freshman guard Devearl Ramsay. Playing Torrey Pines right now. Already had a nice dunk and has several very nice assists. 5'11 right now but who knows where he will end up. SC also has another talented freshman.

Too early to tell. Thornton (the other freshman for Sierra) has 6 offers already.

I thought Winslow was the best player in the tournament in terms of athleticism, skills and overall talent. It was a down year in terms of the elite teams and subsequent talent level, but there were still some good players. Ivan Rabb is going to be very talented for O'Dowd as he continues to grow, 6'9" as a sophomore already. I was unimpressed with Kameroon Rooks as mentioned. He needs to lose some serious weight and is limited to spurts right now for the most part. I was much more impressed with Cheikh N'diaye. Runs the floor really well for his size and is a good intimidating force on the interior. Jordan Wilson from Windward also impressed me a ton. Very small, but really quick, gets great lift on his jump shot and is a great competitor. Quality players that stood out overall : Winslow, Kris Yanku, N'diaye, Wilson, Watson, Ahmad Rorrie from Lincoln (WA)....great three point shooter, really like his game. He's a Cal commit for right now.

Agree about the man-child Winslow and about the quality players overall. I really liked the game of Jermaine Edmunds from Salesian. He's a 6'4" Senior guard who's smooth and has a good shot. He gets overlooked because there's 3 other D1 commits on the starting five but he impressed me as much as Jabari Bird. Anyone know where he's headed?

I thought Bird underperformed. I think he settled for too many outside shots and forced some looks that weren't there instead of attacking and using his athleticism to dictate what defenses do. Salesian has four starting seniors, led by national standout Jabari Bird. Bird has verbally committed to UC Berkeley. Seniors Mario Dunn and Markel Leonard have given verbal commitments to Montana and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo respectively. Senior Jermaine Edmonds Jr. has received collegiate attention but is currently undecided. elcerrito.patch.com/articles/salesian-basketball-squad-ranked-10th-in-nation-2nd-in-state
