Free speech is not dead and neither is dishonesty that is continually exhibited by you 'Conservatives'.
This group was NOT a student organization but an off-campus group. I don't believe for a second that the student who 'invited' them on to campus had ever talked to the administration.

They had permission and only after that Conservative nature of the organization was made known were they marched off the Campus.

SDS was banned from several colleges in the sixty's,there has never been free speech in education. I knew a high school teacher who was fired because he refused to make his students do the pledge of allegiance. He did it but would not make students so it. But that got him fired. he believed no t doing it was a form of free speech as well. He was a decorated Marine.Try wearing a confederate flag emblem to school some time.I know another id was bounced when he had a T shirt that showed the Cattle flag with the words heritage not Hate. Still got bounced.

The administrator denied ever giving the girl verbal permission. Maybe YOU should re-read it.

The Dems are really playing hard ball in the face of a huge defeat this fall.

The Dems are really playing hard ball in the face of a huge defeat this fall. Or. . . Perhaps this is an attempt to regulate truth in advertising. Since the program has yet begun, it seems strange that insurance companies (whom everyone trusts) are already gearing up to increase prices. Or then again, it is the typical whining you always get from the captains of business. But, I hope that davdesid is right and the Democrats are playing hard ball.

Our biggest worry and problem now is how to combat what the Dems will ry to do during the Lame Duck session after the election. They may try to still do Card Check and Cap and Trade.

But, I hope that davdesid is right and the Democrats are playing hard ball. Hard ball against what? Free enterprise? Any smart company will charge as much as it possibly can for any product or service. Then some other smart company will come in and charge less. What you say is true, but I think it means the Democrats are trying to squeeze the Insurance Industry using bulling tactics. They are still dreaming of a one payer system and causing trouble for the Insurance Companies is one tactic to that end.

The "hardball" quote is Win's, not mine. I just provided the link to Professor Volokh's post.
