When did they start the black and red theme? USC tried the "blackout" or whatever it was. What's up with the PAC 12 ripping our colors?

The pac-fudge-cheaters are getting their arrogant and snobbish fans use to black and scarlet. When the pfc's invite the Aztecs into their bcs conference, soon, then the fans will have been brain-washed to love the San Diego State Aztec colors! I mean they will love-uv the Aztecs' great looking uniforms because none of the uniforms in the current pfc, are anything better than (this word was edited for the sensitivity of the pac-fudge fans) ugly!! Almost all of the Pac-12 teams are now wearing black unis with hints of their actual colors. Does this look like ASU to you?  Oregon?  USC?  Utah  UCLA is almost black...  |

That asu uni looks awesome. I wonder what Nike would do with ours? I guess I'm a little nostalgic, I always liked how black and red set us apart. Stanford's uniforms are iconic. Think of the band on the field play. If you had such a historic uniform why would you change it? Oh well.

I just got home from the Bull Pen, a good sports bar in Sedro-Woolley, Wa., the Pac 12 game is on and 3 different people came up to me and said they were rooting for the Aztecs tonight. I'm sorry, but on the west coast we are known for black uniforms. Screw Phil Knight and go Aztecs!

Right - I know we use Gold trim...but I really thought the colors were Scarlet and Black.... In that case, let's make some unis that look like USC's in color....think they would be pissed?  On 2nd thought - F them all. |

On 2nd thought - F them all. There was one game where the Aztec basketball team wore gold unis. One game, the fans did not like it one bit. I think it was four or five years ago. |
