The simple fact of the matter is that if we did away with the military and the military industrial complex, we would not have to lose all these young lives while actively killing people for their extreme religious beliefs. If the United States was not actively engaged all over the world we would not have all of the enemies that we presently have. Time to do away with the military and balance our budget. Nobody can disagree with that. It just makes sense. Sure Joe. I hope you are doing ok. |

As has been my policy over the years, I fill in anywhere a radical political opinion needs to be voiced. Liberal is easy. I just have to pretend that there is no religion anymore and the STATE has to provide for all public welfare. Take that position and it is easy to be a lib. After that, if we do believe that the STATE has taken the place of Religion, we can take the position that all military effort is wrong because it takes lives instead of providing for the comfort of humanity.
