With the distinct possibility of Isaac Hamilton not coming to SDSU......think of the possibility of Shrigs moving to SG.......he could be a matchup nightmare for people.

Maybe he wants to get a year of school under his belt.....then dominate!

This thread is not as dumb as people think because they may regret redshirting him this season. They desperately need 3 point shooters and Jamaal and Rahon are not making them. So if Tapley is off we are in trouble.

So if Tapley is off we are in trouble. I've got absolutely nothing against this kid but, really, what makes you think he would hit his 3's consistently in real games anyway? He's played at the HS level and in all of 2 exhibition games at the college level. Maybe he'd be the greatest 3 point shooter since Jimmer or maybe he wouldn't. In order to get minutes on Fisher's teams you need to play defense. Whomever plays the best D get the minutes, pretty simple. Perhaps it was decided Shrigley needed work in that area. I am glad Fisher runs the team.

#1 a player can't redshirt unless they "sign on the dotted line" he isn't being held hostage.
#2 being the 11th man and most likely constantly frustrated over 6-8 minutes per game (maximum), or be the guy for his Jr and Sr seasons. He has a very good chance at also being a 4 year starter.
#3 we have a top 5 backcourt in the COUNTRY. It's not like he would fill some gaping void and push our team to the next level. X-Tap-Rahon-Jamaal will more than handle the 3 point duties and then 3 of them will leave the Mesa opening up the role for Shrigley to step into the next 4 years.
