Been thinking the same the past few weeks. Their offense is solid. They are coached very well as we saw personally at the Q. Last two games vs BYU and Louisiana Tech are tough. But both are at home. Question is, do we want them to win or lose this saturday figuring we will play byu in the poinsettia bowl most likely right?

I never thought it was a terrible loss. They aren't the Spartans of before. Still, I was disappointed.
Letting North Dakota put up 40+ on us was equally concerning, if not more, to me earlier in the season.

Not a bad loss on paper, but bad in the way we lost the game. We dominated that game through 3 quarters.
A couple of kick returns kept them in it, then a total collapse of our pass defense in the 4th quarter allowed them to sneak out with the W.
That one still stings a little.

They just seem to have our number in a weird Cal Poly SLO kinda way.

Bottom line, this wasn't all that bad of a loss for us. Please. It was an embarrassment. At home no less.

Bottom line, this wasn't all that bad of a loss for us. Please. It was an embarrassment. At home no less. If that's the case, then 7 other teams, plus Stanford, are embarrassed too.

They just seem to have our number in a weird Cal Poly SLO kinda way. No way. Dont let the Chuck Long era cloud your thinking fellow Aztec Brethren. Lastly can we drop this thread now, No need to go anymore in to the low point of the season. We got Conference Championships to win!

Bottom line, this wasn't all that bad of a loss for us. It was a bad loss. We were at home, leading 24-17 to start the fourth quarter. SJSU scored 21 points in the 4th quarter, including two touchdowns in the final 5 minutes. In the fourth quarter, SJSU had the ball three times - all touchdown drives. One drive was 7 plays for 80 yards. One was 5 plays for 77 yards. One was 5 plays for 65 yards. In the fourth quarter, SJSU went 12-13 passing for 222 yards. Of SJSU's 290 total passing yards for the game, 200 came in the 4th quarter alone. In the fourth quarter, SDSU had a penalty on each of SJSU's drives, totaling 35 yards. We were leading 34-31 with 2:24 left to play. SJSU got the ball on its own 35. SJSU drove 65 yards in 5 plays to score a TD in just 1:30.

Bottom line, this wasn't all that bad of a loss for us. Bottom line, San Jose's best win is @ SDSU and SDSU's worst loss is vs San Jose. Once San Jose beats someone with a pulse besides us, then maybe we can say it wasn't "all that bad"... until then, it sucked.

Losing to San Jose State is a bad loss, at home is embarassing, losing 3 times in a row to them is disgusting, having to play them 3 more times, 2 times on the road, is abysmal

Much respect to that program. They were a power back in the day, beating Pac-10 teams, then almost dying out like Long Beach State's program. San Jose is another hotbed of talent, they should continue to prosper.

San Jose State is good but we're better and should've won that game. C'est la vie.

SJSU, Fresno State and Washington. All good teams having pretty good years. Washington may have had the toughest schedule in the nation outside of the SEC.
