espn.go.com/blog/pac10/post/_/id/12575/tcu-not-oregon-state-uses-big-stage-to-make-statementFrom the ESPN Pac-10 blog: One thing is for sure: TCU still enjoys seeing itself as an underdog. It didn't escape detection that ESPN GameDay analyst Lee Corso picked the Frogs to go down by "three touchdowns." "I did text [Corso]," Patterson said. "You guys thought that was a bogus text. That was me. I asked Chris Fowler, 'Lee: Three touchdowns?'"
Best thing to happen for the MWC is for Boise and TCU to both run the table. (Maybe a BCS rematch, but this time in the Chapionship game?) I was half hoping for BYU and Utah to make poor showings this year, but after reading the press from today, the MWC really gets a lot of mindshare with those wins, especially when they happen in bunches, like they did this week. Lots of "The MWC did really well this weekend..." stories floating around. Hopefully we can be part of those stories in two weeks with a win over Missouri...

Corso is a total idiot. I've formed that opinion off much, MUCH more than the Marshall Faulk comments.
How he has kept a job all these years analyzing college football is as baffling as Joe Theismann getting gigs (worst NFL broadcaster ever).
