What is really going on here is the real lack of foresight by all the stronger members of the EU. It is how the lack of near uniformity in government policies and economic strength should have been a sign of trouble to come and even from where it would come from and why. Adopting a common currency without having common economic policies should have never happened and you have to wonder at the wisdom of all those involved. Nobody wants a Greek to starve, but at the same time Germany should not be feeding Greece and Spain.
