there will still be a point guard on the court (and I don't think we're going to see that this year as much as some people expect). LBF will average 10mins or so, and get maybe half of that in mop up duty, but will still get minutes in most bigger games and close to 10 in the average game.

Jamaal will bring the ball up like we saw him do all last year.

I, too, find it strange that NOBODY is talking about Polee and JJO. I'm curious to see what we'll see when they hit the floor...

Right, but what type of game are they going to bring? They're virtually unknown at this point in regards to how they've progressed, etc.

All reports suggest Polee has gotten stronger and has improved his jumper.

They're virtually unknown at this point in regards to how they've progressed, etc. JJO is a smooth savy player with size and strength to guard and rebound down low, but with the skill set to play on the perimeter. He can shoot, drive, pass, etc. The question mark on his game is his motor. Polee is a high flying forward that can stroke it from 3. His handles aren't great, but he'll be fine as long as he doesn't over dribble. In the open floor he takes off like an airplane. He'll catch many lobs, block some shots and grab rebounds way above the rim. I still question his toughness and perimeter defense.

we won't see that lineup, maybe not even for a possesion all season, but we'll see thames/lbf tapley/thames Rahon Franklin Stephens/Polee so, you say 5 forwards, instead we'll see much more 4 guards I agree, BBA, has been drinking the Jamaal Kool-Aid again. Last year proved it. You win with guards in college.

Every coach wants their PG to push the ball in transition every opportunity. It's called "probing". If you can go coast to coast and get an easy 2 every time, why not?
