This is just another of the "Fire Fisher" threads we have seen here. In time, if Rocky gives us consistent winning seasons, bowl games and a championship or two, we will all be feeling good and these posters will change their posting names.

People here don't get it...we have to support Rocky, because the alternative is unthinkable. If he doesn't get it done, we will have run out of chances and will be a sub-division team. We have as little as 1 to 3 years before the uber leagues solidify.

This team has problems. Rocky will figure out solutions, but it may take time. If we had USC type of talent, some of you may be right. Many of you have not leveled your expectations with the level of players we have brought in.

Another coach? That could just as well be another Chuck Long as a Brady Hoke. And if you do find a Brady, then they leave in a few years.

Does someone want to start a thread where we vote to keep or fire Rocky, but only count by posts where people use there thread names....that way we will have a log to see who is right in a couple of years.

Yeah. One is getting rid of a few obviously underperforming assistant coaches. Chuck waited until his third year to do that and then it was too late. Also I remain convinced that Rocky needs to hire a DC.

Ultimately I think that will be his downfall (lack of a DC) - really doubt he can get either guys he wants and wont give anyone else the opportunity. Guess if you're gonna go down, might as well do it your way.

RockN, I don't know who he may want but I've asked the ASR guys to investigate for their weekly mailbag what lower level schools are using the 3-3-5 from whom we might be able to poach a coordinator. If you're a subscriber too you might want to check that out this week.
