Statistically it is safer to fly than drive, but real life situations tell me to drive to the store instead of get on a plane.....

Statistically it is safer to fly than drive, but real life situations tell me to drive to the store instead of get on a plane..... exactly! the article and rocky's thought process was a joke. you ALWAYS go for the FG first... it keeps you in the game and gives you a shot at winning. the professor with the bad bowl cut needs to stick to what he knows (hint: it's not football).

I like that she's given tons of information. My hope is that if she keeps doing, the rare negative comment may not end her career here.

Well we know why rocky goes for it now. Because we can't kick field goal. Really Sad that a D 1 program can't find someone to kick a 35 yard field goal.not exactly a pressure situation either. This will hurt us at some point this year.

He hasn't kicked FGs in 4 years (soccer team player instead) so I understand a little rust. Bookmark this.

Going for 2 everytime doesn't make sense unless you make it more than 50% of the time. The NCAA average is in the low 40 percentage range. The only time it makes sense is when you are behind by at least 2 TDs. This is because your opponent doesn't have a chance to change their decision. They aleady went for 1 point every time. Even though you will average less points overall, you will end up with the lead more often. This is due to exchanging 2 point losses for 1 point wins.

My biggest question is in regards to the 59% success rate for the 2-point conversion. Are they looking at NFL stats for that?
