Good article. I didn't know he was a pac 10 player of the week. Let's hope he's back to his old form. I can tell you already his feet will get us a few first downs in this game. That is a dimension that has been sorely lacking in our offense for a long time.

Lindley also stayed relatively healthy for 4 years......coincidence?

Being able to scramble may add to ones game; though, not being able or looking to scramble does not necessarily take away from one's game

I'll be happy with no interceptions. If that happens, we win this game.

Katz will likely have a chip on his shoulder - as long as he plays within himself (and the o-line gels), he could have a monster game.

The main reason Katz is starting is because he brings with him the experience that he's done this before. He'll be nervous I'm sure, but he knows he's had big games and performed well on a big stage. I'm hoping he'll settle in and pass on first down and we'll have lots of short third downs. Oregon always has pretty mobile QBs and they usually like to start games by having the QB run so he gets hit. I know our offense is a lot different but I wouldn't mind seeing a QB sweep/draw on the first play. But that's just me.

I'd like to see an onsides kick recovered by SDSU to begin the game. Then after we recover, a lateral pass to Brice Butler who then throws deep for a TD.
