Been watching Hawaii HS games, Oceanic Cable 16 in Hawaii puts their local HS football games online. Last night Dakota Turner had an incredible game, this guy's going to make an amazing addition to the Aztecs defense and maybe the offense too. He scored a TD after tearing the ball from one of the top running backs in the state. On offense he shutdown and even pancaked Kennedy Tulimasealii of Waianae HS who is a nationally recruited D lineman. The game was watched by many recruiters looking at both these guys but I heard the commentators regularly mention Turner was committed to SDSU so good news for the Aztecs.
Also saw an impressive showing of the Mililani QB and O linemen Joey Anglemire and Kainoa Wan. Anglemire has a couple offers but I don't see any offers for their QB (Morikawa?) or Wan; they'll be a great steal for any team.

One of the things I miss most about Hawaii is the great coverage of High School Football. My house was just a few blocks away from Mililani High School and one of the really great Military Golf Courses, Leilahua, was close as well. My back yard overlooked Mililani Golf Course.
Still, San Diego is better for us.
Keep the reports on Dakota Turner coming.

ASR talk saying he's already putting together 2012 highlight film to send to colleges. My question would be why.

Rick, there's no problemo. Check ASR again. Is his committ solid? (I don't have ASR, sorry) Complete misunderstanding. The kid told ASR he would be sending highlight film of his first three games this year to "colleges soon" then clarified he meant buddies on the mainland he camped with and he's looking forward to being an Aztec. Strange but innocuous, apparently.
