Looks like the move to the BE is already paying off perception wise. According to Newsday, SDSU has recently been a top 25 team.

Looks like the move to the BE is already paying off perception wise. According to Newsday, SDSU has recently been a top 25 team. and won 9 games last year (apparently we played 14)

Didn't the WAC cover four time zones? A great marketing tool. For the kiddies, back in '96, (consecutive 8 win seasons), AB and I are at a bar in ABQ the day of a SDSU-UNM night game watching AFA beat a Lou Holtz coached ND team. The WAC did have its moments. But I digress. This is about the Big East.

But I digress. This is about the Big East. But it had no depth, no cities, too many lonely cowboys, and no interest by anyone outside of the small TV markets.
