Weird how quickly everyone turns on him. I'm bummed. Who has turned on him? I don't see anything harsh.

Anything said here are all things Pelle has heard in person the past 2 years, Im sure. Kid needs to prove he can handle the added responsibilites of school and being a D-1 athlete. Hope he gets it all together, but Im happy he isnt anywhere near our conference. I also agree with you Dirtball on the point of Skylar Spencer...Im perfectly happy with Spencer plugging the lanes and being a stand-up person and student. (or so articles have said he is) Thats the type of guy any program would want.

Weird how quickly everyone turns on him. I'm bummed. After reading this post, I went back through and read every post preceding it, and don't see any comments that were derogatory or derisive.

Iona and Norvelle must feel that theirs is a good marriage. Iona will provide a stage for him and he will elevate Iona in the MAAC. Both know that he needs a strong support system, read tutors, to keep him on track. I wonder if they have the coaching staff to coach him up. Norvelle is young big man who has been away for a year, needs conditioning and coaching to develop his many skills.
Hopefully both parties enter this arrangement with eyes wide open.
Godd luck to both except when you play Fairfield.

Great player, but will need support to stay eligible. My guess is that Iona is not concerned about their APR.

Too bad, would have been nice - but guessing we could not take the APR hit of another player leaving early. We had 3 the other years, and maybe JF this year, so maybe this is for the best. Bummer though...

Maybe he is hoping IONA is desperate enough for his talent that they would be more generous with transcript interpretations?

He sounds like a terrific player. I wish him all the best.
Time to move on to the next recruit.

still only an honorable mention on the all-rumor team... he seldom had SDSU in his final three, nobody knew one of his friends who knew a friend who heard he was coming here, no resident stalkers saw him at an Aztec football practice, his Tshirt wasn't for sale at Azbooks, he didn't play pick-up at Muni Gym JF and BBA never called him a sure thing Aztec...

Woulda, coulda, shoulda...
Best of luck to him, really.
Maybe, he'll transfer back to us? It's happened before.
