He may qualify but he'll never complete 24 units. His one and done goal limited his choices and schools that could risk the gamble were the ones left.

I really love this guy's game, but honestly I'm kind of relieved. I've been reading his twitter posts (and his friends) for a while and he is like the Chad Ochocinco/Johnson of NCAA hoops on social media. Aside from concerns with his grades, his twitter is like an open book into his mind. The guy shares every second profanity laced thought that pops into his mind which is kind of disturbing when he should know that so many fans, coaches, schools are looking him up. I know most HS and college kids have twitter accounts, but most have some sense. Winston for example is far less active and far more careful with his posts. I have a strong feeling that Norvel isn't going to last long wherever he goes. That said, I have nothing against Iona (wherever that is) so I wish him luck and hope I'm wrong. Let's spend our schollies on high impact, high character guys.

You know I wanted pelle. But im going to look on the brightside. Spencer has been in school since july, working his ass off. Would have sucked for him to have Pelle steal all his thunder.

I wish him the best at Iona & beyond.
It would have (or at the very least could have) been nice to have him for the season, but everything happens for a reason.
We're stacked as it is, should threepeat as reg. season champs, cut down nets in the MWC tourney, and be playing for a 4-seed in March and a trip to the ATL by way of San Jose and LA.
And all without that 'damn Norvel.'
