Bummer, you always hate to have experienced players injured, but here's a chance for Ruffin to shine. Denso will be back for the opener with his finger taped up. I'm more concerned with Beed's injury, given our depth issues on the DL.

Which hand? If, it is the lead hand when he catches passes that could mean problems, but if it is the other hand no big deal. But, now that I think about it..., if he gets it taped up , and has a chance to heal some he may be able to continue without any difficulty. Hope we see him tomorrow looking forward to it!

He's the number 4 or 5 WR now.

He's the number 4 or 5 WR now. Yup. It takes having a full stable of WR's this year to really realize how thin we were last year. God bless Ryan Lindley. (and Gavin Escobar.)

He wasn't that good to begin with. No offense to several die-hards here, but like Dreadhawk said, it's not like he was at the top of the depth chart regardless of his experience. As many of you know, I wasn't impressed with our WRs last year at all. Lockett has potential and speed...a ton of both. You could tell he was raw. Denso is a guy whose talent is tapped out and we've seen the best of what he is. A slow possession WR with fair, but not good hands.

Bummer. I like Denso. However, if this had happened last year, it would have really been a killer for the O. Hope he gets back soon and gets back into the rotation. Depth.

Interesting. I didn't know there was a lead hand. Usually, you try to catch passes with both hands, but on plays where you have to jump high and only have one hand up to reach as high as possible to make the catch then you probably use the hand that is most comfortable to catch with. Just like playing baseball. Do you catch with your left or right hand? It is good to be amadexterous, but not everyone can do that. So, the hand you fell most comfortable with in catching a pass would be your lead hand.

Your lead hand would be the one opposite the side you are looking to. Looking over your left shoulder and your right hand would be the lead hand.
Now, about that front foot..........

Even average guys at times make great plays, especially in clutch situations. He did so for us a few times last season. Part of being on a team is everyone making a contribution no matter how small. What do you say about the 3rd, or 4th string guard who comes in for one play, and helps make a block on a rushing DT who is going after your QB? If, he didn't make the block you QB gets sacked for a 12 yard loss, and it was 4th down? In other words ,Denso may not be the top WR we have in camp ,but to call him not good shows you lack of knowledge on the team concept overall.
