Damn, hoping for a speedy recovery. Mater Dei's Nico Siragusa pushed up the chart, the kid may get his chance to play sooner than expected.

So who wins in a steel cage match Agustin Gonzalez or Scott Sommer? AG is a small guy but he's got some "scrap" to him...too tough to call.

So who wins in a steel cage match Agustin Gonzalez or Scott Sommer? Agustin has a tag-team partner in Ruben Meza, Scott is alone.

i don't understand why they don't put senior Jimmy Miller at a guard spot rather than have him sit on the sideline as backup center??? You'd think he would be a starter after coming in as a highly recruited 3* prospect and having 4 years in the system.

You'd think he would be a starter after coming in as a highly recruited 3* prospect and having 4 years in the system. Particular player strengths/attributes/limitations can force a player to play a particular position. It's also the coaches' final decision after his thorough evaluation and assessment of the player. You don't throw any lineman into a spot just because he's a senior, you put the best guy in there, no matter what his class is. You can bet there's something that the coaches see that you and I don't see. Perhaps he has slow feet, not as quick as the coaches would like or it's just political (he doesn't like the new coaches or doesn't buy into their system). Who knows? Oldie Out
