My bold Jamaal prediction for this year is that he will again attempt another off the backboard dunk (in a real game)

My bold Jamaal prediction for this year is that he will again attempt another off the backboard dunk (in a real game) I'm 100% sure he'll do it more than once. He'll also do the between the legs dunk more than once.

I just can't see him going between the legs more than once...I can see him attempting it again this season, but I think once he does, he will get a stern warning from Fish and that will be the last we see of it this year.

I was there for the TCU game and that reverse put back straight outta nowhere was straight up the coolest thing I've ever seen in person on a baskbetball court.
Then again, I wasn't there for that Globetrotter $#!+ he pulled in the first UNLV game.
So long as he lets the game - and his moments - come to him, and lets X/LBF/Tap manage the lion's share of the game, I expect more Superfreakiness this season. Maal is a cog in a basass wheel. But a cog nontheless.

He does the between the leg dunk with such ease that it really isn't a big deal at all. It's a low risk dunk that will get the entire team and the home crowd fired up. It wouldn't make sense to do that dunk on the road though. The dunk that concerns me is the off the backboard dunk. If it's 2 on one with the guy back peddling and Jamaal has the ball in the middle....fasten your seat belt and hold your breath...he's doing it! If he makes it, it's guaranteed ESPN #1.

LOL, the picture of Jamaal dunking with his head near the rim is actually Deshawn. Jamaal is the spectator, #5, but just dished up the alley oop pass. It's in the "mixtape" video at the 1:06 mark.

BBA, you gotta be JF's publicist or agent. Good job submitting this to Dime to get JF more exposure... You should get on Twitter and start blasting this knowledge out to the world--take it to another level!

It may not be a big deal for Jamaal to go JR Rider during an actual game (though I think we do need to acknowledge that he did miss on his attempt v Wyo a few years ago), but Fish doesn't like it because he feels it's showing up the opponent. I wouldn't preclude JF from doing it at some point this season, but I think Fish would tell him to knock it off afterwards. Personally, I would like for him to pull it off in the waning seconds of a tourney win over NC State.

It's weird, when Jamaal hits a 3 he always has to do his James Harden celebration act, but when he does a highlight dunk, he simply gets back on defense without celebration.

He is much more valuable playing straight up.

This thread title is quite deceiving. There really isn't much, if any Aztec "love" in that article other than the fact that the title mentions SDSU (after it says "Drew League," to boot). But then I saw the post's originator and it all made sense.
