National tv conference games this year > national tv conference games in the bw, by far.
For those of you worried, there will be max 3 games not televised nationally this year. There will probably be more than that not televised at all in the bw. And also, there goes the "exposure" argument even further.
Nbcsn and cbscs are both > regional fox (which is speculation at that)

Everyone wanted to be on ESPN. Well next year we will have less games on TV.

It blows me away that some of you don't understand the economic sink hole we would be in trying to operate our football team and be competitive on the MWC TV money.

I have Cox and I have the sports package which includes NBCCS (NBC College Sports) and CBSCS (CBS College Sports), but I've never heard of "CBSSN." Is that "CBS Sports Network?" I'm not sure I have that channel - does anyone have it or know what channel it is? Thanks!

It is the station the olympics are on....channel 603 for directv customers. And if you are a sports fan and don't have directv, then you are not a sports fan! As much as people hated the Mountain....I loved it. Watching every conference game (every one with every team) is something I truely enjoyed. Really sad to see it go even if it was in standard def. Maybe the conference can set up streaming like the big west does.

Too bad we don't have a game on CBS Seriously. Maybe someone will bid to get rights to one of our games vs UNLV...

That home game versus UNLV is the night before the first day of Spring classes. The Show should be in rare form.

That pile of cash will provide cold comfort while listening to the games on radio if it comes to that.

The extra money does nothing for me as a fan in the short run....hopefully in the long run it will work out having more money to buy better coaches and such. For now we'll be doing alot of scoreboard refreshes on the phone! (or tuning in iHeart radio to listen to Teddy....god save us)!!

5 conference road games on t.v. and 3 conference road games not on t.v.
5 conference home games on t.v. and 3 conference home games not on t.v.
Interesting.

I also think it's way too early to assume that all of the games won't get shown on TV.

Interesting. just tells you there are 2 teams no one wants to see on tv (wyo and air force) and 2 teams that they would only want to see on tv if they are playing a good team and there are no better games (Fresno and Boise)

CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) = Ch. 1321 NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) (Formally known as Versus) = Ch. 1065 or 1060 The channels listed are in HD and here is the reference I used: ww2.cox.com/wcm/en/residential/datasheet/sandiego/channellineup_sd.pdf

Be careful what you wish for.
MBB is taking a hit after this year, you know it, hell we all know it so enjoy this year while you can.

MBB will likely take a hit. How much of a hit nobody really knows. I will continue to renew my season tickets for both football and basketball, attend as many games as possible and donate to SDSU when I can. "I believe" we can be the Gonzaga (or better) of California... it is up to us to help make that happen.
