Imagine the potential revenue if football had been as successful as men's basketball. The landscape has changed but the rules haven't. It's all about winning.

Let's keep it up. As a season ticket holder, I still think we need to hike the rates.

Agree football prices should be higher, at least basketball increased single game prices. At the same time put a winning product on the field and play some exciting opponents and people will come.

It is sad that the revenue from football is only $700K greater than basketball. Hopefully that will pick up with a consistent winner. I am also looking forward to the day where we don't have to rely on subsidies from the broke state of California. The BE TV deal will hopefully solve that issue. I would suspect the subsidy going away eventually. The bozos in Sacramento have driven so much of our tax base out of the state that they will be cutting everything they can from budgets.

That is how basketball became profitable. First you win, second you sell out, and third you raise the ticket prices. That will take some doing also, the biggest crowd I've seen was the Miami game when McGwire was qb.

Sky is the limit however but establishing a consistent winning program should be job #1. I think coach Rocky says 5yr will do it. The Big East move could accelerate the branding exposure and following if all goes right. Now is the time to take advantage of the affordable ticket prices to introduce new fans to the brand. As WE win fans will be hooked for the future.

All football needs to do to double its revenue from games is to lift the one beer at a time rule. I hate asking people in line to buy me a beer as I give them cash for it. I feel like I'm 15 again.
