Funny, that's the same bravado some of the delusional Fresno State posters use. Last we checked neither of you have been invited. LOL. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. Do you honestly think UNLV wasn't contacted about moving to the BE? You obviously have no clue to be quite honest & can try to act like you know, but FACT is you don't. Pure comedy.

UNLV is probably on the list (not to far down the line) but there is no way they would have been offered before us. Our football program is decent, theirs sucks and more importantly, we have a larger TV market. Spin it anyway you want, but unlv has not been given the opportunity to turn it down.

UNLV membership in the the BE is as simple as one, two, three.
1. The BE western division becomes all-sports for everybody; 2. The BE western division expands beyond seven; and 3. The new stadium UNLV has talked about for a decade has begun construction and UNLV has a winning team in a very watered down MWC.
The odds of all three happening are about the same as UNLV dropping football.

Trivia time for UNLV fans:
Did you know that your school has now had three times as many 2-win seasons in the last eight years as SDSU has had in the last 50 years?
Yeah, the Aztecs have been pretty much mediocre overall for the last few decades. However, there's crummy and then there's butt ugly, gawd awful, reguritatingly miserable.

It must be coming from that "misery loves company" scenario. You guys go do it and tell us how that works out for you. UNLV is just fine in the MWC. I think that rent payment is due before your football season starts.

Basketball rent is due before November too and your credit without an income this year is a little shakey.

Based on the overall Aztec OWNAGE of the T&M the past several years... if we're talking "basketball rent," then shouldn't UNLV be paying rent to SDSU for use of the building we pretty much own??

FIFY I really hope you guys become a permanent conference partner with us. I'm not happy at all that UNLV & SDSU will not be in the same conference together. IMO it's a big mistake that SDSU is making the move they are & it will never make sense to me more money or not. UNLV had the same opportunity, but knows it would be a mistake & it ended before it started. Hopefully down the road somewhere both schools are back together again. No.

But you can tell US how staying in the MWC works out for YOU when Fresno agrees to become the BE's 14th football playing member in 2015 and then the three front range schools consider leaving for CUSA.

(There will be a lot more posters to that board once SDSU, Boise and Hawaii join the PCAA.) Wait 'til they get a load of me Yeah, they'll be playing Private Idaho in their head all day like I've been this morning since seeing your post on the MWC board.

They're actually pretty nice states in their own right. I'd take either one over a dung heap like the southern 2/3 of New Mexico. (BTW, one of our recruits called Albuquerque "beautiful." He's from Amarillo and never been to SD and I gotta wonder whether he'll still think that about ABQ after tripping to SDSU.)

(BTW, one of our recruits called Albuquerque "beautiful." He's from Amarillo and never been to SD and I gotta wonder whether he'll still think that about ABQ after tripping to SDSU.) Though, for me, SD will always be the center of the universe, I don't play football. I'm also taken in by the lure of the desert in the southwest and the upper deserts in my region. It's also why I knew, in my previous life, my days in theATL and CVG/Florence KY would be numbered, (though when the mood struck I did enjoy Yellow Jacket, Bearcat and Cardinal football when I wasn't traipsing cross country to watch the Aztecs lose another football game. My favorite period was the back to back 3-8 seasons when the braintrust of the period decided Jack Hawley would be the better QB than Brian Russell because he had the stronger arm. As it turns out, his only claim to fame was slamming his head into a brick wall after scoring a touchdown, pretty much ending his career. But I digress). My point is, as much as SD has to offer, (perhaps too much when it comes to competitive sports), you gotta go where you feel comfortable. Which is probably why linebacker Uaea Masina chose Utah over BYU and SDSU. Of course, it could also be the PAC-12 over the BE and that irrelevant thing.

Or, you know, it could have had a little something to do with him being LDS from Salt Lake...
