I didn't know Albuquerque was lilly white.
He's got Tight End written all over him. Doesn't look to have any quickness but OTOH, he's 6-6, has good hands and can block well - at least against what appears to be pretty mediocre competition.

I was very disappointed my son didn't want to play HS ball but a 6' TE is probably just another guy at that level and SDSU sure wouldn't be looking at Moore if he wasn't 6-6.

He ran a 10.6 100 That's BLAZING fast for a guy his size...hell, for a HS kid period. He actually ran a 10.84 according to the track records and a 4.68 40 in the ccmbines in 2011. I imagine he runs in the low 4.6s or high 4.5's as a senior, still for a guy 6'6 that is in 2011 not bad at all. I have never seena guy 6'6 run a hundred meters in a track meet. Cannot imagine one running a 10.84. When you watch him he seems ot be slow but he just runs past people with those long strides. Who knows maybe he does own a 4.51?

But Usain Bolt is 6'5", yes? not 6'6", but close.

I got the 10.6 number from this article... sandiegostate.scout.com/2/1202227.htmlIt's a self claimed number so who knows. Either way, 10.6 or 10.8 are both impressive. Hell, I think Hardwick's 10.7 is the fastest I've been able to find on milesplit from our current roster.

Also, it is common practice to add .24 seconds to hand-timed runs due to human error. When I ran track in high school, I was disappointed many times because I thought I had ran a good time, but then they had to add the .24 seconds in the stats.

Hard to coach speed but you can build muscle and weight. Rocky has the best out of New Mexico on lock down it seems.

kid lays the wood pretty hard on some of those kick coverages. stiff arm on the last play of the video is pretty nasty as well. weird seeing a kid that tall taking kick returns to the house.
Anyone think he might beef up and go DE?

How many great players have we seen with so-so 40 times? regardless, Moore looks like a talent and bringing in tight ends is always a good idea - they're usually among the best athletes on the high school team.
