Kid averaged over 12 yards a tote last year. I don't care where you're playing that's impressive.

It would be nice to see a running back over 6 feet in the back field why? running backs don't have to rebound or block shots - name the all time top 10 running backs under 6' and then those over 6'....which list was easier to fill out?

Sweet. That schools is approximately 6 miles east of USC in one of the rough neighborhoods of South L.A. (kinda place that most wouldn't dare to drive). USC overlooks that school often. I was raised in that area, it was my home school, but I was bused out. Jeff (colloquial name in the hood) was known as a powerhouse back then. It's good to see SDSU tap into the talent available there. Especially since it's literally in USC's backyard. He's gonna love it on the Mesa. It's a world of difference where he's going and where he's at.

Change of pace, it seems lately our last running backs (Sully/Ronnie) now (Kazee/Muema) have all been on the shorter side and not much of power backs. I would not mind seeing a big bruising type back in the SDSU backfield repertoire

That kid is a bigger stronger faster version of Walter ,tremendous heart and brains. The big issue where do you play him? He looks fanatstic at runningback a great aztecback or a olb. Espn rates him a76 three stars, rated number 83 runningback by scout. Can you imagne him in three years behind our huge oline.

Nice get. He looks like a great athlete with a 6'4" high jump as a sophomore.
I bet he doesn't play a snap at RB. He has the makings of an Aztec back or possibly OLB.

Stamps said himself that he wants to play on the defensive side of the ball that he likes contact. He wants to play lb or saftey those were his comments to rivals.

As we should, against all lesser Pac-12 teams The also offer everyone and their dog. It's like saying you nailed the hottest fat chick. OK Damone.

I think both of our Safety commits will end up at OLB. Stamps looks like Nick Tenhaeff did his Senior year in HS.......both excellent RBs. Nice recruiting job by Coach White.

Morris may move to OLB but, Stamps will play the aztec/safeties position. He is rated by scout as the 7th best safeties on the west coast.

What happened to Pumphrey being the running back in this class? Regardless of what ASR is reporting I gotta believe Stamps is destined for the defensive side of the ball.
