I wouldnt have minded a small price increase. i actually would have been a fan of making the GA tickets about $125-$150. I just cant stand that they aren't GA anymore. WTF? You wouldn't mind a tix price increase but, can't stand they aren't GA? They are GA they are just sold. If they were as hot 5 years ago as they are now they would have been gone then. What u said doesn't even make sense. I at least clearly made my points.

New season ticket holder for Men's BB this year. Just got confirmation of 2 tix in Section D row 21. 14 Priority Points. Happy with that for now. Talked with the ticket office today and they had said that they are only at the beginning of issuing new seats. They are anticipating it taking until the end of the month. Apparently there are a bunch of requests from single digit priority points. Not sure how they will be deciding who will get priority from those with the same number of points. Maybe they just keep calling and whoever answers gets the change. Glad I got my pair last year so I am not worrying about it this year.

^They could and should consider the order date - tie goes to the earlier deposit. Like they said they would do before going with point system.
Not a beef. I should have bought seats two years back. I doubt my Feb deposit and 2 points will get me very far. I won't be upset, but I will be looking for single game tickets.

new to the board, a quick question? What are priorty points and how do you get them You get points for each year you have owned season tickets plus there is a method of assigning points based on how much you have donated. For example, I have 22 points (2 seats x 11 years). My seats are NOT in a required donation level so those that are likely have more points than I do. That being said, I was still able to get two additional seats (in the $130 area) but just not near my current seats.

For those who paid only 1/2 of the money for their basketball season tickets...
Don't forget that Monday is the deadline to get the 2nd 1/2 in!

Its unfortunate that these graduates who used student tickets may not have an opportunity for season tickets. But then again, how many students got students tickets and didn't use them or sold them on the open market...

Points come from three places...
1) You get one point for every year that you have had a season ticket...two seats = 2 points example: 2 seat for 10 years = 20 points
2) You get 1 point for every $100 in AAC donations this year example: you have two gold footbal tickets ($150 donation per seat = $300) + two red basketball seats ($300 donation per seat = $600 donation)...$900 in current year donations = 9 points
3) You get 1 point for every $1000 of life time giving example: you had those gold football and red basketball tickets for 10 years...$900 in annual donations x 10 = $9000 = 9 points...
Add them all up...20 points + 9 points + 9 poinst = and you got yourself 38 points...

Maybe think waaaay outside the box and buy a $99 ticket a year or two in advance to secure some priority for the future? It's not like you couldn't have made 10x that amount selling the seat(s) while you sat stood in your student seat last year.

I do feel bad for the students now since I was an '09 grad and it really was perfect timing. I got 2 seats for the '09/'10 season and then had 3 for '10/'11 and picked up two more before last season so I now have 5 seats, only 3 years out. If I graduated this year I'd be stuck at the end of a long line and there's not a lot you could really do about it. I'm not sure what sort of system could have worked better for recent grads but you'd think there'd be like a 5 point bonus or something if you make a donation within 6 months of graduating or something like that. I dunno...just a shame for some of our most passionate fans to get hosed while people who are otherwise big fans of the school sat around not getting tickets when they could have. Same kinda people that were no-showing games in November and December in years past. Bummer.

It's not like you couldn't have made 10x that amount selling the seat(s) while you sat stood in your student seat last year. That's what me and a couple of recent SDSU grads did. As soon as we saw the influx of talent that was starting to be put together for the 2012-13 season, we knew we would have to secure seats by at least last season to feel comfortable.

I have had football seats for over 20 years and get NO POINTS for basketball. They are completely separate. Where is the love? LOL.

If your lifetime donations are in the thousands, you get a point for each thousand given.
