Long, Athletic, decent handles, great finisher at rim, good body strength, and an ok jump shot. NBA potential down the line.

Have we ever landed a Mater Dei player before (out of high school)? Only 1 I can think of was Dan McGwire & he was a transfer, yes/no?

SJ scores a perfect 100 on CoolEthan's studly scale. If I'm not mistaken he's currently leaning towards Arizona & UCLA.

More times that not these players will choose UCLA or Arizona but we are now a legit option and can get serious looks.

Stanley Johnson is one of the best players in 2014. I wouldn't be surprised if he cracked the top 10 by his senior year. Long ways to go in his recruitment though.

Stanley Johnson is a STUD player!
I believe we had a walk-on Guard from MD a few years ago that was an All-Conference player......can't remember his name'
Of course, in football, we had 2 all-state players in Billy Blanton and Cory Boudreaux.

We just need to teach him how to spell San Diego......and he needs to dump Anthony Taormina as a friend ("say no")!
