Julius Wilson, a 3 star 6'2" wide receiver with 4.4 speed from Culver City with offers from 5 Pac 12 teams along with Illinois and Nebraska wants to play football and basketball. He is Skylar Spencer's cousin and is willing to walk-on the basketball court. Pay article on Rivals: sandiegostate.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1368271

Are you saying that with a football scholarship they wouldn't allow him to walk-on to the basketball team even if he never saw any game play other than maybe PLNU? Is there a limit to the number of players they can have that practice with the team? I'm sure that a 6'2" receiver with 4.4 speed would be an asset to the football team.

Don't trust any posted 40 time unless it's from a combine put on by Rivals, Scout or ESPN. From everything AG and Scott have been writing we are only taking one WR and he's not on the top of my list, so yes I wouldn't take him.

I can't argue with that but with the teams he's getting offered by someone probably timed him. He sure looks fast in the videos. Point made with the 40 time, but he looks fast in the video and has recieved offers from some nice programs as well. We would be silly not to give this serious consideration. Heck, he said he would walk on (bball). Heck, let him rack up some playtime if we play southern utah again...Heck heck heck. Attachments:
