I know of Jordan Bell only because Stanley Johnson punched the meanest dunk over that kid. It's pretty hilarious.

Quick thanks to nielsbohr for pointing out a typo. Always a good idea to bury your mistakes...in the Title.

A sub 40% free throw shooter?...who does he think he is?... Shaq? Scout put out highlights of him the other day sandiegostate.scout.com/2/1183654.htmlHe looks so raw on offense. His jump hook looks atrocious. Might just be me but for a guy with no offensive moves and undersized, it's crazy that he has some of the offers he has. SDSU hasn't even offered.

Keep in mind, he just wrapped his Junior season. Plenty of time to refine the offensive game and address the FT's. He's a legit shot blocker, is quick enough to guard the 3, and is a decent passer. Work to be done, but tons of upside.

With O'Brien & Polee, slightly undersized 4 isn't exactly an area of need to the Aztecs...

This kid is a beast but we have little to no shot at landing him

He looked bigger than 6'7" when I watched Long Beach Poly. He's a shot blocking beast.

Defensive animal. Im sure our coaching staff could teach him up on the offensive side of the ball. Would love to see him here.

2 years from now Jordan Bell will be a beast. He's already one of the best shot blockers in the country regardless of class.

With O'Brien & Polee, slightly undersized 4 isn't exactly an area of need to the Aztecs... I think just the opposite is the case, or at least will become the SDSU norm. Fisher has found something in the athletic 6'5-6'9, long-armed hybrid 3/4's. Players like White, Thomas, Leonard, Polee, O'Brien, Shepard, and Bell will make up the core of furture rosters. I expect this year's squad to bring back press D and kill teams in transition. I believe it's this style (and success) placing Fisher/SDSU in the mix w/so many previously untouchable recruits.
