Trey Zeigler is going to be a great player for some "major" program. Could wind up at Michigan State. Also supposedly already set to visit Duke.
I could see Evan Smotrycz going to a Butler or similar program and being a great player as a faceup-ish PF.
Alex Oriakhi will be the REAL prize from this transfer class, for the right program that has all the perimeter and wing talent, just needing a post presence.

Soooo youre saying Oriakhi would be perfect for us? I agree.

We could use more depth at the 4 and 5. A one year impact contributor would be fine. A PF from Michigan sounds intriguing, especially with the SDSU - Michigan ties.
Oldie Out

SDSU should make a run at Oriakhi. Nice role playing big with exproence. Goes perfect with our guard oriented style of play.

Would you use AW scholarship on Josiah Turner to see if he can turn it around. It's a win win situation, if he doesn't get his act together then both can go their seperate ways.

Turner was kicked off his high school team as a senior. As a freshman at Arizona, he was disciplined three times and suspended twice. Pass.

Also, we've become a major program.

But we are not a major program, and there are 20 teams in front of us where he would be assured more exposure.

Oriaki isn't exactly a sure fire NBA 1st rounder. He barely scores and he'd be quickly overshadowed by a name brand freshman at a major school. He needs to go somewhere where he can play an enhanced role on a tournament team. He needs SDSU more than SDSU needs him.
