How tall is Spencer now? I have read he is closer to 6'11" than his listed 6'9" I heard he was 6'10 and still growing. I count Spencer as one of the most intriguing '12 West coast prospects. Good chance he develops into the defensive force/presence scouts expected of Angelo Chol.

He will need to work on his offensive game though.

I expect most of his scoring to come via putbacks, lobs, and fast-breaks. Kid develops any semblance of a post game and/or mid-range jumper, and we're looking at the cherry on top of a very nice sundae.

Yea, I realize that. Thats why i'm interested in seeing what he says in the profile. If not him, we definitely have a need for a pure shooter or two. The team in 2013 should be very solid in all aspects minus maybe SG. We have a really good shot at 3 pretty highly regarded recruits imo in 2013 (Dakari Allen/Roschon Prince/Brandon Randolph) Randolph is an interesting prospect at his size and him not being a true PG will make schools pause but he is a terrific shooter with a quick release and pretty athletic. Randolph remains a bit under the radar and I have no idea as to why. He may not be a true 1/PG, but as Fisher/SDSU have demonstrated with Heath/Gay, it's possible to win with converted and/or non-traditional 1's. I expect his list of suitors to expand, but to this point it simply hasn't. Hopefully this is another Fisher find.

Wouldn't hold yourbreath for Isaac Yea, I realize that. Thats why i'm interested in seeing what he says in the profile. If not him, we definitely have a need for a pure shooter or two. The team in 2013 should be very solid in all aspects minus maybe SG. Jamaal Franklin is one of the best shooting guards in the Country, and Chase Tapley is pretty damn good too. We lack a dominant post player. That's it.

Not true, Shrigley can play the SG position. Obviously you didnt read my previous comment. Once Rahon/Tapley graduate and JF(possibility of going NBA) it would leave only Shrigley as a SG type. Even then, he is a solid all around SG/SF type and not a lights out 3 guy. We'll definitely have a need for one of those IMO You're right, after next year SDSU is going to need to reload on guards. You're essentially graduating 4 players, maybe even 5 if Jamaal leaves early...and possibly 6 if Shepard is as special as everyone seems to think assuming the team advances past the Sweet 16.

I think you saw my previous post about this after you posted this, but to clarify, I was talking about 2013 AFTER Tapley/Rahon graduate and with the possibility of JF declaring and going to the NBA. We'll be without some serious perimeter shooters at that pt.
