We are in no position to turn away 5 stars players like Jabari Brown and Josiah Turner. Do you see any elite 8, final four, or national championship banner hanging in the roof? If those 5 star players don't help the team sure we are.

I like the way we have guys that are good kids, get along, etc.. unlike many teams in america that have the thug, don't want to go to class type of kids. If it means we win a few less games and have to work slightly harder to win a natl. championship... then that's the team i would rather have

You sound like a total moron. P.s. WE DON'T HAVE ANY MORE SCHOLARSHIPS TO GIVE ...and if we did have a free scholarship, it would almost certainly go to January, not Turner.

Not only does he have a bad attitude. He's actually not that good. I promise you don't want him on your team.

Agreed. He was seriously overrated coming out of high school... and for a 5 star recruit with every opportunity in the world to play as a freshman.... was pretty underwhelming. Not only does he have a bad attitude. He's actually not that good. I promise you don't want him on your team.

So I guess guys like Thomas, Thames, Shelly, and Rahon are head cases since they have transferred to different schools 2-3 times in their career. Imagine if 5 stars Kate Upton show up at your door and say that she want to make love to you and you turn her down because she might or might not be a head case. Very good logic there Aztecs fans.
Stay fresh and classy San Diego.

How so? So I guess Jabari Brown is good enough for Missouri and not good enough for us? Aren't they like rated #4 or #5 in the nation?

When did transfer equate to head case? I didn't see that being said anywhere. Now you are grasping at straws to support a weakly stated argument.
Transferring has nothing to do with it, but everything to do with his second suspension at Arizona in a year (third if you count he was purposely withheld from a game by Miller to prove a point). Add to that prior to coming to Arizona he was kicked off his high school team (for a culmination of things, but included a verbal argument with his head coach because his scoring had been diminished by 5 points per game because he was pulled him from games during blowouts).
He was late to practices, which lead to him being held out of the Ball State game. He was also kicked out of practice the week of the NMST game. Now this suspension.
He skipped games and practices in high school too (hmm a trend, yes?), thus we see a reoccurring theme about his ability to have any commitment to anyone. Not exactly who you want to depend on.

Josiah Turner is a waste of hype. He'll be at somebody's D2 or NAIA before its all over.

There are a couple things to consider here. 1. Who's scholarship does he take? I don't the mean AW or LBF arguement, I mean the class of 2013 kids who it seems like we have a fair shot at getting 4 & 5 stars kids from that class. 2. More specifically, does the presence of Isaiah Turner discourage Randolph or Hamilton from attending SDSU because they would be competing with a younger player than X who would be a senior. 3. How much of a cancer is he? Unlike Brown he would sit out an entire year, so he could be dismissed like Baxter if he continues poor behavior. 4. How long would he stay? He's rumored to be thinking NBA right now. Would we only get him for one year?
Is Turner's one year when we have X and Shepard worth losing Hamilton or Randolph for a few years? Do we think the 2013-2014 team one dynamic, immediate impact player away from a National Title?
