For a couple of weeks I've been reading tweets and briefs about Chris Hansen, a wealthy SFO hedge-fund manager who has proposed putting down some of his own money for a new NBA arena in Seattle, his home city. Well, this morning I went onto The Seattle Times' web site to read off-season reports about our first football opponent for next season, but the headline caught my attention. It's a semi-biography on Mr. Hansen. Apparently he's an SDSU alumni. He described how he grew up poor and largely put himself through San Diego State University and the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He now manages more than $3 billion in public and private investments as managing partner of Valiant Capital in San Franciscoseattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2017517805_hansen16m.htmlI wonder if he follows Aztec basketball? Maybe those posters/donors on here, who have been asking for new Aztec basketball facilities should contact him.
