time to go independent. we will pretty much be a basketball school. not having to travel to the mountain west schools will only help our budget out. now we can schedule as mercenaries for $$ in football. we already have our bowl tie here, the Poinsetta. no need to join the Wac , they cant offer us much more than the 2million we were getting in our television deal.... you could make that money every year being someones road kill in just a couple games.

Toy skipped being the only Calif. school in the Big 12.
We make them more National, they make us BCS.
I e-mail the new AD to get proactive and make a sales pitch.
Basketball is helping and football must win now!

May need to adopt Fresno St's mantra of anyone anywhere anytime. Then there's always C-USA west. Move Tulane to the eastern div. Bring along UNLV(?), Air Force,TCU and UNM.
(Oh, well as long as we're speculating!)
