Looks like Perez isn't as accurate as Shields. However, I'd say no contest on kick offs.

Ezelle is #2 behind Hillman I think that's just because Kazee is a little nicked up. ruffin keeps moving up and is bigger, faster, stronger than Kazee and if he stays healthy ... he might end up splitting carries with Hillman this year. |

Surprised that Juan Bolanos isn't first team yet. Maybe it's to motivate him. Just because he was brought in from JC doesn't mean he would start right away, he would still have to earn his spot like all players. |

Surprised that Juan Bolanos isn't first team yet. If you've been watching the clips on goaztecs, Gunther has been constantly getting recognized by all the coaches for the work he put in this off season and the effort he's putting out on the field. As he comes from a big time football family, could be that all it took was getting his mind in the right place and it would be no surprise to see him blowing defenders up this year. If Bolanos is the player we expected and he still can't crack the starting line-up, that's good news for the offense! |
