This kid is flying way under the radar. For those that don't know his story, he didn't play organized football until his Junior year in HS. His Dad is Tongan and played rugby for a team in Sacramento. He played at 6-3 260. Ben is listed at 6-4 225 and his Dad thinks he's going to be bigger than he was when he played rugby.
Here's some video...
This is the kind of kid that Boise has made a killing recruiting and the more kids like this our staff is able to find the better IMHO. Can't wait to see him in the red and black.

Wow. He man-handled those DL men. Looks tough. I think his father must have instilled a rugby-tough mentality in him. I like that. Can't wait to see him on the field as an Aztec!

Impossible for Moa to "fly under the radar" as you say, since the Moa are a species of flightless birds from New Zealand.....in fact, to take it a step further, Moa does not even exist as he and the rest of his flock went extinct hundreds of years ago....see definition below.
Moa are members of the ratite group in the order Dinornithiformes.. The eleven species of moa are the only wingless birds, lacking even the vestigial wings which all other ratites have. They were the dominant herbivores in New Zealand's forest, shrubland and subalpine ecosystems for thousands of years, and until the arrival of the Mâori were hunted only by the Haast's Eagle. It is generally considered that most, if not all, species of Moa died out by Maori hunting and habitat decline before European discovery and settlement.

You only THINK Moas are extinct, hence the "flying under the radar" tag. As a fellow Kearny Komet from ancient times, I'll be following Ben's career and hoping he's closer to contributing a la Kearny grad Darnay Scott than Kearny grad Marvin Jones.....

The guy is solid. He holds the blocks and saw quite a few pancake blocks. Nice!
But how about some of those WRs? Looks like they can catch, some nice ones, too. And good speed, too.

I know we offered him early and before other teams found out about him to try and lock him up before everyone was jumping in.
