All that money and the attendance is the same. We have way more population that can come to a game. It is hard to believe they have held on to their coach. He is the key.
So here we sit with 70,000 seats. We can grow past so many other teams if the fan's will follow winning. Our problem is rich Alumni. Yahoo had had many articles of the tuition of schools. It is shocking to see how many school charge $50,000. So I have not ever seen a study how rich the sons and daughters are when the tuition go's down. So rich parents have rich kids? Is it that the degree that costs more helps their kids out more. So some CPA's cost more then others, but you would think over time that the incomes of CPA's would be about the same in 20 years. So may be wealth comes from being handed down by the parents?
We don't have medical Degrees or law Degrees, so that hurts us, but most of our other degrees should produce similar incomes.
We need to be able to have more Alumni give then even if it is less per Alumni.
When I graduated they put a retired History teacher in charge of the Alumni Association.
So we were way behind were we should be because they did not put good people in charge.
We depended to much on the State.

TCU has 9,000 students and shares the market with 3 other schools. We have to share our market with a Pro Team!

Price of living costs will keep you from paying for a stadium. Oldie Out

Lousy Football program for a long, long time....basketball included but has changed
Pathetic Alumni support
Piss poor marketing
Almost non existant publicity
Blame every other thing on good weather, many choices, etc
Lousy school spirit that doesn't help instill pride of school ownership at an early level
Apathy, Apathy, Apathy
All these and many more gives us what SDSU has been for far too long.

TCU and Boise State got to the top with less then we have. Boise has a small stadium and a smaller market. Look what Gonzaga has going for them. We are playing them up there. We sell all our seats we will have some power.

it boils down to money and that needs to come from selling out the football and basketball facilities- to do that we need to have a winning team in football. We have it basketball as of now but still do not sell out the V. Bottom Line WIN games and market the programs.Ask the alums what they are doing to help support their school's program. TCU has to compete with their pro team also(Cowboys). This year is a make it or break it year
