I don't necessarily agree with Mort Zuckerman's recipes for helping our economy take off, but the first half of his article is fact based . . . and depressing. The administration is trying to get everyone to believe that we are recovering. Well, this is the weakest recovery on record, I guess. Not all of the blame can be laid at the feet of the Obama administration, of course, just as not all of the blame for the Great Depression can be laid at the feet of FDR. Both came into office as the American economy was collapsing. Nevertheless, it's clear that The One and his cohorts have no idea what to do. I think the Republicans are a bit closer to figuring out what might work, but right now it's not clear to me that things will get better any time soon no matter what is tried. Back to Zuckerman's article. Notice what period of time it will take, at current rates of growth (very slow) to get back to the unemployment rate of pre-2008! Very disturbing. online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703960004575427332237529948.htmlAzWm

I would think that as clueless as the Obama bunch is that someone would tell Obama to just stop doing damage. Just stop doing anything until the GOP takes over again They at least have an idea about what has worked in the past. I still worry about even GOP members of Congress do not have the will to make the big spending cuts that are needed.

If we make jobs in this service sector economy, those jobs will help create more jobs.
