Hoke is turning this team around. I am excited to see what the next few years bring, for sure.

Yes, it is nice to hear a coach for the Aztecs preach and teach consistency. Something that has been lacking for years.
I also liked the "the dreadlocked Sandifer".

Yeah. Nothing like getting up on a Sunday morning, checking the sports page and reading Hoke's lines. If they don't do it right, do it again. Perfect. That's what this team needs, a kick in the butt, administered in a loving way. I think Hoke provides just that. Now, lets see how well they react and learn. We just have to get past our road woes and this is but a step on that trip. The Fred Noonan School of Navigation.

The UT love fest continues.
The i've got nothing else to do comment is flippin' awesome, starting practice over, having the offense run because they were getting handled - an actual football coach on the Mesa.

Some are saying we have one of the best football coaching staffs in the NATION! I just hope they remain intact for a good long run.

The best case scenario is that this is a glorified scrimmage. Hopefully, the back-up QB's get plenty of reps.

I wouldn't get too cocky yet. We haven't played them. They may just find a way to play hard, and put points on the board. Our team is not really in the position to take anyone for granted. Hopefully they will play well, and look good. But, they need to approach this game as though it were a Bowl Game. You can bet Hoak will not allow them to take Nicholls St. lightly, he will drive them hard. Go Aztecs!!!

We're going to have to take it to them like Air Force did last year. What better way to practice our running game? We know we can pass so we should only do so if we get a 3rd and long.
