I know this may be a weird question.....but after picking up a pair of Aztec Season Tickets earlier, I was thinking of ways to promote the Aztecs.
I live on a street that gets quite a few cars passing by...and was thinking if there were Aztec yard signs available?
Much like the political yard signs we see near elections.
If not, I think it would be a good way for Aztec supporters to get the word out and support SDSU.

I have a an Aztec flag that I purchased a few years ago from Flags & Banners. Fly just below Old Glory, but I only put it up after we win. So, it is really in like new state. My neighbors think I'm weird, which is great.

Me too, I put mine up game day and if we win stays up for a few days, if we lose it comes right down Sunday morning. Its like new

Good idea. When I was in Michigan everyone had U of M or MSU flags up in their front yards. We should put SDSU flags up in ours to promote.

Every Saturday. Stays up Sunday after a win. Guy downstairs switches to Chargers on Sunday.  |

I also have the same flag and live in West LA. Every Saturday morning during college football season before I watch ESPN College Gameday, I put up both my flag and my wife’s USC flag up in our driveway. I leave both of them up regardless of the scores over the weekend. If anything, I pull the USC flag down first and leave my Aztec flag up until I catch heat from my wife complaining about why I took her flag down first and left mine up because more often than not USC wins and Aztecs loose. I'm hopeful that one day I can hang out proudly on my front lawn and brag to my USC and UCLA neighbors that I was down from day one when we weren't very good and look at us now national champs. Hey, we can all dream can't we? |

I've got a couple of the banners that formerly flew along Friars Road - thanks to Dave L. and all those who helped the Aztec Ticket Office distribute all those pocket schedules (hint, hint...)

I hate those DS flags......they just look so pathetic, bush league, and junior high look...!!!!

It really is all about SDSU for me. I mean I root for pro teams and even other universities, but I AM an Aztec, so its more personal I guess. You are a PART of it in some weird way. So Makes the successes more sweet, and the losses all that much harder. .....A true fan you are....!! |
