I really didn't mind either way when it first came out, but I wasn't big on having more than one recruiting forum. However, now that it's starting to get a little more action, I think it may be wise to have separate forums for football and basketball, as well as an "other sports" forum.
I've found myself every once in a while clicking on a thread assuming it's about a football player, when it turns out to be basketball, and vice-versa.
Not that it's that big of a deal, but what do others think? As always though, I defer to the admins' thoughts, as I truly appreciate them for running this board on our behalf.

It would be nice if people could label their threads to categorize. Example: (BB) SG Joe Smith commits (FB) Quarterback from LB Poly verbals

I still don't like it. For any big time news it's posted on the main board anyway.

I like the recruiting forum, but any more seperations will be too many. Just leave it the way it is now!

Well, maybe not every letter, but A-H, J-R, S-Z. Then one for each men's sport, one for each of the women's sports (but don't call them Lady Aztecs, Beth doesn't like that.) Let's not stop there, how about one for every high school? Oh wait what about middle school recruits? Shall I keep on going?

I don't really deeply follow it, but the good psoters seem to have migrated over here, so, it's sort of nice in that way

Well, I thank you all for Liking it. I think the poll that was started due to my suggestion was around 60% in favor. I do have a prescient sense for things.

Separate forums may be overcomplicating things... I do like the idea of making clear in the thread title which sport it's related to. A formal policy may not even be necessary. If enough people make the effort to put "FB", "BB" (or "MBB" "WBB") or other keywords in the title, more people would pick up on the convention and it would gradually become common usage. A few posts not using the convention wouldn't be that big a deal, and it would avoid the problems associated with official micromanagement.
Thoughts?
