I caught this in the NEXT issue of ESPN, The Magazine (1/9/12) under the article on the 7'0" 14 year old Indian basketball player, Satnam Singh Bhamara "The Yao Ming of India."
Under the section called "The Pipeline" on page 101.
SDSU guard recruit is listed as one of three players with Indian backgrounds.
"Manroop Singh Clair, 17: A combo guard from Vancouver with a jaw-dropping ability to rain down threes. Clair is another product of Huntington Prep. The 6'3", 165 pounder is a crafty ballhandler and is more than capable of finding the open man, but it's his shooting that makes him special. A long-range gunner- part Jimmer Fredette, part ICBM missile - Clair can, and does, knock down shots from anywhere on the floor."
I saw that he transferred out of La Jolla Prep to a school in Texas in November and is likely to reclassify as a 2013 recruit.

La Jolla Prep is 6-12, per Maxpreps. Wonder if their coach (Gary Trousdale) is related to Poway girls basketball head coach Jay Trousdale.
