Caught the tail end.
They're still attempting to get Samuel Eze in, so he can join us this season.
And no, he doesn't think he has plateaued.

Caught part of it.
The staff spent July on the recruiting trail. West Coast recruits know SDSU has alot of playing time available with 5 seniors graduating. To my disappointment I didn't hear reference to a Fab 5 class, but it's clear Fish knows the importance of the 2011 class.
Recruits know SDSU is legit and is competing at the highest level. It was clear we are competing with top schools for the top 2011 recruits...yet us fans know there are limited top recruits available especially when the out-of-state national programs come calling. Norman Powell, if you are reading this just stay home and be a star.
Fish recognized this is the toughest OOC schedule in history, but he was also confident that we will show well. Said the schedule is still not finalized.
Fish also focused on the current kids. Says Kawai and Tapley are in summer school and all the kids are lifting weights and playing every night. Fish said something like: "our top priority is the kids who have already committed to SDSU." Amen.
Fish sounded kinda old skool with a goofy kind of grandpa demeanor - he sort of reminded me of John Wooden - stately, confident, and inspiring. He's a great figure head and a great coach, yet I imagine Fish's recruiters are the real sellers of the program.
Expectations are high but it's a great time to be an Aztec.
Man this is exciting. To even hear this kind of talk is crazy.
